In addition to creating design work, I love to conduct design research.
Research Lead: Pip Collin
Supervisor: Michelle Catanzaro
Research Assistant: Dinusha Soo
I started my work on the ARC-funded project as a summer scholarship recipient in November 2022. I was then offered a position as a research assistant. My work has been primarily situated in the visual communication stream, where I have been analysing the visual language of the School Strike 4 Climate protests.  The tasks I have performed include:
1. Visual Ethnography which included taking photographs and interviews at the protests.
2. Coding over 1,200 placards and creating a thematic analysis of the result.
3. Coordination and joint delivery of workshops discussing climate action with international university students from Japan and primary school-aged students from the Western Sydney region.
